2 & 4 WHEEL DRIVE GENERAL RULES

--All vehicles competing in 2 and 4 wheel drive must have a pick-up truck or car appearance
--Cars / trucks will compete in four different classes: pure stock, stock, super stock, & pro modified.
--Dual wheels or tires not permitted in any class except pure stock & stock, dually trucks only.
--All spots are 10 feet and no spot will be greater than 150 feet.
--All vehicles in all classes except pro modified must use metal body components.

 *Exception* Stock factory production line composite body panels. 

--All classes and spots are based on one 4-bbl carb. Any vehicle in any class, except pro mod may subtract 1 spot if stock factory available 2V or 1V carb is used on V8 engines only.
--Boring will be permitted, not to exceed the max cubic inch limit for that class or spot on chart.
--Any vehicle found competing illegally will forfeit all winnings, set out next 2 races (1st time), pay $200 next attempt to race.
--ALL drivers in ALL classes will wear a SAFETY HELMET!
--In 4x4 classes both differentials must pull while racing.
--All super stock & pro mod vehicles must know weight of vehicle with driver. (So go weight it!)

--All mini trucks with non-factory V-8 will compete in Pro Mod. Class only!


THESE RULES ARE INTENDED TO CREATE A HIGHLY COMPETITIVE RACING PROGRAM FROM PURE STOCK THROUGH PRO MODIFIED. IF ANY SITUATION ARISES THAT GIVES ANY ONE VEHICLE A DISTINCT ADVANTAGE/ DISADVANTAGE DUE TO AN OVERSIGHT IN THESE RULES, STEPS WILL BE TAKEN TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. ANY AND ALL SAFETY RULES COME FIRST, AND THE SAFETY OF THE RACER AND THE SPECTATOR ARE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. 


PURE STOCK--2 & 4 WHEEL DRIVE
--Must be factory stock, aftermarket air filter permitted
--Dual exhaust with mufflers, any length. NO OPEN MANIFOLDS.
--Headers permitted with mufflers attached only, All exhaust must go through mufflers.
--Rear bumper & tailgate optional.
--Aftermarket wheels permitted, no aluminum wheel adapters permitted.
--Shift Kit and conversion shifters permitted.
--Any differential gear ratio permitted, but must use stock housing. Posi-track or locked rearends permitted.
--Street tires any size, directional or non-directional. NO PADDLE, CUT or INDUSTRIAL TERRA TIRES PERMITTED! MUST BE DOT APPROVED.

STOCK--2 & 4 WHEEL DRIVE
--Headers permitted with or without mufflers.
--Rear bumper & tailgate optional.
--Must have full bench seat or two automotive bucket seats.
--Shift Kit, conversion shifters, and high stall converters OK.
--Any gear ratio in any automotive housing will be permitted. Posi-track or locked rear ends permitted.
--DOT Street Legal Tires ONLY. Absolutely no industrial terra tires, paddles, or cut tires allowed.
--Traction bars and aftermarket wheels permitted. No aluminum wheel adapters permitted.
--Only smooth idle cams will be considered legal. Any vehicle what has a rough, choppy, or irregular idle (@ or below 1000 rpm), regardless of manifold vacuum, will not be permitted in stock or pure stock class.

--No added weight to vehicles allowed.
--Aftermarket valve springs and retainers, and roller tip rocker arms are permitted, full roller rockers are not permitted.

--Gasoline is the only fuel allowed; octane booster OK
--Cutting of rear fenders, inner and outer, will be permitted, for tire clearance only.
--Any single 4 bbl carb on any one piece intake manifold is legal. Carb to manifold adapter may be used for application only. The stock hood must close without carb interference.
--No trans brake allowed.
--Engine swaps in older full size vehicles will be permitted, but according to the following guidelines:
--Must be same make & factory available for that vehicle.
--Stock firewall will not be cut, altered or modified.
--Radiator will remain in stock location.
--One battery only is permitted and must remain under hood or factory location.
--The transmission must be compatible to the engine without the use of an adapter. The transmission cannot have more than 5 forward gears.
--The electrical system must be functional.
--The hood must close without carb interference.
--Engine height must remain as close as possible to stock.
--Aftermarket ignition allowed. No stutter boxes allowed.
LEGALITY OF ENGINE CHANGES WILL BE LEFT TO TECH PERSONAL

SUPER STOCK--2 & 4 WHEEL DRIVE
--Approved seat with shoulder harness required. Passenger seat can be removed.
--No in-cab fuel tanks permitted.
--Hood scoops, rear bumper, & tailgate optional. Vehicle must have a stock or custom grille.
--Dash appearance must remain stock, except for add-ons ( gauges, tach, etc....)
--Inner door and window regulators must remain along with door panels. All factory glass must remain.
--Must have drive shaft loops, explosion proof bell housing, transmission blanket, roll bar or cage, shoulder harness and fire extinguisher.
--Any ignition system is allowed; the rest of the electrical system must be basically factory and in place. The generator or alternator must be in place and functional.
--A maximum of 2 standard automotive batteries or one industrial battery permitted.
--Any automotive type, assemble line produced transmission, installed without adapters will -be permitted. Any internal modifications are permitted.
--Any front springs and shocks permitted.
--Paddle tires permitted, Cut DOT tires permitted. No molded paddles.
--Any rear end ratio, any automotive type rear end, locked or posi-track will be permitted.
--Reasonable cutting of rear fender wells will be permitted for tire clearance only.  Enlargement of front fender wells will not be permitted. Front inner fenders must remain intact.
--Rear end may be narrowed, Factory design rear suspension must be retained for make and year of vehicle. No ladder bar, 4 link, or 3 link suspension allowed.
--Any cam and lifters are permitted. Aftermarket roller cams add 1 spot. Any rocker arm design or ratio permitted. Any cam drive permitted.
--Any piston permitted.
--Any production line cast iron head permitted. No welding or epoxy, except for repair purposes only, Two repairs per head only. Multi angle valve job,  porting and polishing permitted. No aftermarket heads allowed.
--Aftermarket steel rods permitted. Aluminum rods and strokers will not be permitted in super stock class, No titanium rods permitted.
--Super stock vehicles minimum weight with driver:
        V-8 cars 3000 lbs. * 4 & 6 cyl. Cars 2700 lbs *
        V-8 trucks 3750 lbs.
--All factory high performance engines that cannot pass the cam rule in stock class will compete Super  Stock class.  
--Any type gasoline permitted.
--Electrical fans and water pumps allowed.
--Any weight added over 100lbs. Must be @ 50 yd line of vehicle.

2 & 4 WHEEL DRIVE PRO MODIFIED

--All 4 Wheel Drive vehicles must have an automotive or truck type front and rear end differential.
--All spots will be 10 feet.
--All vehicles allowed electric fan and water pump.
--Solid motor mounts recommended.
--All 4 Wheel Drive vehicles must be able to go 300 feet with the rear drive shaft removed.
--All 4 Wheel Drive vehicles must run a minimum of 150 feet.
--All drivers must wear approved fire suits during practice and competition.
--No rear engines allowed.
--Chain drive transfer cases allowed. Open chain drives must have safety cover ¼” minimum thickness.
--All vehicles must have a body of truck, jeep, or car appearance except dragsters.
--All mini-trucks with non-factory V8 will compete in this class.
--Pro-modified vehicles are subject to the Mandatory Safety Regulations plus the following:
--All vehicles must have a minimum 3PT safety belt. 5PT Recommended
--All vehicles with drive shafts over 12 inches in length  must have a safety loop located near the middle of the tube made of 1/8”x 1” steel or equivalent.
--All vehicles with clutches must have an approved scatter shield.
--All vehicles with automatic or clutch automatic transmissions must have an S.F.I. Approved transmission blanket or plate shield.
--Closed vehicles must have a minimum 4 point roll bar securely mounted to the frame at all 4 points.  All open vehicles must have a full cage with the 4 upright bars around the driver securely mounted to the frame.  Minimum size tubing in all vehicles is 1 5/8” x .083” chromoly.
--No dual wheels permitted.
--All supercharged vehicles must have belt guards and blower restraint straps.
--No belt transfer case permitted.
